10mm Full Auto Glock - I bought a G20 from the Glock shop a year ago and it has been a great gun to use on my farm in northwest Colorado. I have complete confidence in his ability to handle any situation that may arise in this rural area. Recoil and muzzle jump are very manageable with Winchester silver tips. This is a top-tier sidearm for a big game hunter.
I felt this was the best weapon for the increasing number of bears I encountered since last year's trout fishing.

I have since installed a handy release 'bar', which makes cleaning up a day after shooting much easier.
I also bought a plastic vacuum plug on the side grip where the magazine goes in. I've heard that dirt can get into the firing mechanism from there, but idk sure yet.
With a full clip, be sure to push it firmly into the body of the gun - it's awkward for the clip to fall out. Hopefully, the magnetic spring will weaken a bit.
Has 20SF. My third Glock and my favorite of the 8 pistols. 15 rounds of 10mm is a lot of firepower.

I bought a G20 GEN 4 about a month ago. I bought it at a low price. Even if I pay more, I will still be a happy man!
Last week I went to the range and shot 3 different ammo. Blazer, Sig/Sour and Armscore. All 3 performed without any problems. But I will say that I like ARMSCOR better.
I shot all single-fire and semi-auto FMJs. The gun worked perfectly! Of course, it's a GLOCK!
I have an old G19 from the early 90's, still a great gun. I always carry it with me, or my RUGER 1911 45ACP when I first bought it.

I have small 4 carry guns, but I like more power! Head, I.E. WIFE likes small guns though. I don't want to make him angry enough to shoot; He is a much better shooter than me! His father raised him in NRA competition in the late 50's and early 60's, and he always beat his son and won a ton of trophies! This was supposed to hurt!
I'm torn between 10mm and .45 ACP. However, after reviewing many ballistic and performance studies, there is no doubt...the G20 wins in all categories: muzzle and target velocity and energy, flight path, etc. Personal safety, but if that black bear shows up in my backyard again he might take some lead shampoo!
I've been teetering on the edge of getting this one for a while now. I never thought much of Glocks because of the plastic and lack of manual safety. But one of the .45acp landed in my lap and grew on me a lot: quality, ergos, simplicity and weight considerations. So this will be my first 10mm, based on my previous Glock experience... 15 rounds of 10mm to face anything in the Southern Rockies I call "home".
I'm on my second Glock 10mm and I love it. It has recoil but nothing "uncontrollable". I'm not a huge guy, but straight out of the box and a bit of vision suits my taste (no extra equipment, just stock) and hits the mark every time. Great weapons!!!

It was my first gun, and like your first love, it remains your favorite. In Houston, it's shorts and a t-shirt for nine months of the year, and most of the time I usually carry its little brother, the Glock 29. But when it's cold and I'm wearing a jacket, I still pack the G20. With 16 rounds of hollow point, I guess I can handle anything that comes my way. If Sasquatch has the poor judgment to show for it, the G20 will regret it. I love this gun.
My Glock 20 is my weapon to defend my home, no harm intended but it is the weapon that protects me from wildlife and other intruders.
I am looking for a more powerful handgun than my 9MM and .45 ACP. Lots of recommendations for the 10MM, so I used one of my Blue Label certificates and bought the Gen 4 G20.

This firearm is the complete package. It is strong but manageable. It has exceptional capabilities and I would confidently use it for any home or big game protection (eg bears). This is my fifth Glock and I love them all.

The new Glock pistol case is a huge step forward, but I'd argue that the G40 surpasses it. Opening it almost made the case jump because of the content. In case everything will come back, just make sure to brush up on your Tetris skills.
I expected the Glock to be heavier considering its size, but it was a gentle giant at over 28 ounces. Now, I wouldn't call it beautiful, not even for its size. When unloaded, the gun is heavy from the long slide, but it starts to balance out as soon as the magazine is inserted (about 40 oz). I found it suitably neutral for extended shooting sessions once the red dot was up.
The handle itself is huge. Those with smaller hands don't need to apply it, even without the back strap. My wife, who can reasonably hold a G17 9mm medium rear strip, had a hard time getting a solid grip and reaching the trigger at the same time. My medium-sized hands found the small setting more comfortable, but the medium rear strap is more reassuring, as I tend to high-grip a pistol and get bitten by the slip. Unlike other competition-oriented Glock pistols, the G40 does not have an extended slide catch.
